Trailer for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim Starring Ron Perlman and Idris Elba

Here is the trailer for Pacific Rim, Guillermo del Toro's movie about an invasion of giant monsters from beneath the oceans. The monsters mysteriously arise from the oceans and attack humans.

The monsters are known as Kaiju. A viral site, called Pan Pacific Defense, gives updates about where the monsters have struck. In order to fight back, two humans are neurally linked to operate a giant robot. The 25-foot tall robots are called Jaegers. The poster below shows two humans sitting on the shoulder of one of the robots.

The film stars Ron Perlman, Idris Elba, Burn Gorman and Charlie Day. The special effects look amazing. Take a look:
