The Beowulf Trailer is Here The trailer for Beowulf is out -- and the movie looks fantastic. Adapted by Roger Avery and Neil Gaiman from the ancient saga that many of us were forced to read in high school, this version of Beowulf is done in stop motion capture by director Robert Zemeckis. At Comic-con, a longer bit of the movie was played in which Angelina Jolie (as Grendel's mother) emerges naked from a pool of water and mightily temps the warrior Beowulf.
