3D Shark Night Film in the Works

Variety reports that Sierra Pictures has scored some key territory deals for its 3D shark horror film called Shark Night.

The film is being directed by The Final Destination and Snakes on a Plane director David R. Ellis. Variety says the plot of Shark Night focuses on a group of college friends on vacation at a lake. The college kids discover that danger lurks beneath the lake's waters. That danger is obviously 3D sharks based on the title. Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes are writing the screenplay.
